Once thing is the same (I'm the same) in Mastodon and in Twitter. I can procrastinate for hours on end. Yet one thing is different: people here share knowledge more than opinion. Which leads to a less controvertial and more beneficial place.

    Still, I keep procrastinating.

We're all eager to participate in this new place, happy for new beginnings. Hoping to take part in the conversation again and build a new social experience.

It will wear off, though, I'm afraid. Someone will be aggressive or patronizing or a bully and most of us will choose to stay silent, come here only to read stuff and rarely to engage.

The only antidote I can think of is to keep on sharing and always trying to be nice to each other. Occupy the public space with what's good in us.

I see that the Mastodon etiquette asks for a proper

I was astonished to see, watching the news, that in the funeral chapel for they showed his embalmed body without any casket, and that they allowed people to take pictures with their phones.

It really looked like a mommy freak show. Not that I really care about it, but I'd think that a wake in the , for a no less, would be more solemn and respectful.

    It’s precisely about this.

Hello there. Greetings from Spain and happy new year to all my new followers from . So glad to meet lawyers from all over the world. See you around.

Most probably, only Basques and some Spaniards will understand this picture. It’s our new year’s meal. There’s in one pot and in black ink sauce in the other one. The small clay pots are for serving individual elvers portions. Elvers and squids are, for us, some of the most delicious meals.

With all due respect, I want to see the orchestra perform The Blue Danube, not the dancers. Don’t show me a video clip, for frack’s sake, I want to watch them perform live.

Shortcut to quickly post in Micro.blog

Just made a #Shortcut menu inside my main swiss-army-shortcut-menu to quickly post in Micro.blog and it works :-) Sorry for the low res GIF. The video did not fit.

My wife just asked me why I’m watching the Nazi concert. I love her because she keeps me on edge.

I got original prints by Angie Lewin, furniture by Laura Ashley, lamps by Louis Poulsen, a Swedish world globe from 1920 and the Neujahrskonzert
der Wiener Philharmoniker on TV. Europe FTW 🇪🇺.

I guess all our needs are pretty much the same: loads of email to process, documents to file in their case/project, naming conventions for the files, OCR… Any ideas?

Contextual Spaces and Window Management Tricks (MacSparky Labs) - MacSparky I like to keep different contexts in different spaces. For example, all of my communications apps are in one Space so I only see those when I actually want to work on communications. Either way, here are my thoughts on context-based spaces and a bunch of tricks to manipulate Spaces and window location using some clever BetterTouchTool scripts. I need to try this.

Tab Navigation in the Dialog Box (MacSparky Labs) - MacSparky Here’s a simple, but useful trick. A lot of people don’t realize there is a setting that lets you navigate dialog boxes on your Mac. Once you throw this switch, it’s a game changer. Usar el tabulador para moverse por los campos y botones de una ventana de diálogo. Llevo tantos años haciéndolo que se me había olvidado que no viene por defecto.
