Soy de natural bastante solitario. A veces intento socializar, incluso intento imaginar algún sentimiento de pertenencia a una sociedad que comparte determinados valores. Luego me encuentro con los comentarios que mis congéneres escriben en los medios de prensa digitales. Es como asomarse a un abismo de mezquindad y podredumbre. No querría pertenecer a una sociedad así. Vuelvo a mi cueva, en la que cualquier persona de buen corazón encontrará algo para comer, algo para beber y algo para leer.

I assume the answer is that the Mastodon team has prioritized social features over microblogging features. It’s a trade-off, but it means that Mastodon is not suitable as a blog replacement anymore than Twitter / X is. Anyone who cares about their writing or photos should be publishing them at their own domain name.
I’m proud of Micro.blog’s comprehensive post import. As of 2025, I’ve coded custom importers for a dozen systems, all built-in: WordPress, Medium, Tumblr, Mastodon, Ghost, Markdown, Substack, Write.as, Pika, Foursquare, Instagram, and Twitter / X.
This is why I love micro.blog, too (and its tons of features). But, above all, that I can have my small corner in the world.
